This Parade of Homes ranch earned several awards in 1994. It is built entirely with an insulated concrete forming system (ICFS). Many new environmentally positive products were introduced this year by Kurowski. The home was the first in Colorado to have the Trex Deck system (with hidden fasteners). Green and Energy Star programs did not exist in 1994, but the house far surpasses any of the current program requirements even 15 years or more later.
